Driverless Car

Autonomous Car

An autonomous car or Personal autonomous vehicle, informally known as a driverless car, robotic car, or self-driving car, is a self powered  car capable of automated driving and navigating entirely without direct human input.

Automated vehicles sense their surroundings with the help of techniques as radar, lidar, GPS, and computer vision.  Advanced control systems interpret sensory information to identify appropriate navigation paths, as well as obstacles and relevant signage.

Numerous major companies and research organisations have developed working prototype automated vehicles including  Google, Continental Automotive Systems, BOSCH, Nissan, Toyota, AUDI, and Oxford University.

Google Driverless Car
The most prominent of these is Google Driverless Car project. The project is currently being led by Google engineer Sebastian Thrun, director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and co inventor of Google Street View. The team developing the system consisted of 15 engineers working for Google, including Chris Urmson, MIke Montemerlo, and Anthony Levandowski who had worked on the DARPA Grand and Urban Challenges.

Organic LED

 FLEXIBLE  DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY

Talking about the display technology that we use today which is solid today, and the big size of the smart phones and tablets make it difficult to carry in pockets. But SAMSUNG with YOUM display has come up with flexible display which will change or bring a whole new dimension in the class of viewing screens.

These LED are basically ORGANIC LED's
Organic led's are a light emitting diode in which  the emissive electroluminescent layer is film of organic compound which emits lights in response to electric current, and it takes less power to run. It is very thin and flexible than the LCD's which makes it light weight as well. In low ambient light conditions like in a dark room it can achieve high contrast ratio than a LCD.

It's flexible which means you can fold your tablet to small size and can put in your pocket next it consumes less power than the conventional LED/LCD's so it gives you  the power to last.

This type of  ORGANIC LED display can bring a revolution in the market of viewing screens and portable devices like smart phones and tablets.
