Quadricycle is generally a four wheeled human powered land vehicle. Motorised quadricycle are European categories of four wheeled self-powered micro cars defined by limitation in terms of weight, power and speed.
Bajaj RE60 is a small four seated city car. which was first unveiled on January,2012 at Auto Expo in Delhi. In earlier 2010, Bajaj Auto joined hands with Renault and Nissan Motor aiming to develop a car with fuel-efficiency twice an average car i.e. 30 Km/l and carbon dioxide emission of 100 g/km under US $ 2,500 (under Rs 1.3 lakhs ).

Bajaj RE60 is an rear-engined, four wheeled car. Having a 200 cc, watered cooled, 4 valve DTS-i (Digital twin spark ignition ) engine delivering maximum power of 20 Bhp (15 kw). Car weigh around 400 Kg (800 lb), have a turning radius of 3.5 meter. RE60 can attain a maximum speed of 70 Km/h (43 mph) and has high fuel efficiency of 35 km/l and CO2 emission of 60 g/km.
The Bajaj RE60 expected to cost around Rs 1.5 lakhs in the India market. The company has plan to roll out 5,000 units from its Aurangabad plant.
The Bajaj RE60 is expected to give tough competition to TATA Nano and other small cars in the Indian market. The Bajaj is targeting auto-rickshaw drivers by offering a four wheeler as economical to run as a three wheeler, but safer and more, comfortable.
