World's First Android Phone

HTC DREAM

The HTC Dream  was the first smartphone running the mobile Android operating system which designed and manufactured by HTC for Google. 
The HTC Dream was first released  in US (as T- Mobile G1) on 22 October 2008 with a price

tag of $ 129.99 for new and existing T-Mobile customer . 

Specification 

The new android phone had a 3.2 in (8.1 cm ) large, multi-touch capacitive touch sensitive display, with a good resolution of 320 X 480 pixel. The first Android OS version 1.0 was introduced which can be updated to version 1.6.and had CPU/ GPU from Qualcomm. The Dream had a sliding Qwerty keyboard , a navigation track ball and a set of 5 navigation buttons  including the menu button. A pair of volume button on the left side and a camera button on right side. Had a in built 3.2 megapixel , auto-focus camera which can record videos of 352 x 288 resolution. The phone had a 3.7V, 1150 mAh lithium ion battery, and a micro SD card slot which supported up to 16 GB storage.
The features included 3G , WiFi (802.11 b/g) , Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and an accelerometer.
